My first attempt at natural metal

Here is a link to pictures of a 1/48 Monogram B-29 which has been my very first time trying a natural metal finish. I know pictures are not all that great but comments are welcome. I am new to modeling so don’t be to harsh.

Ron,
for some reason there was no access to that page. Is the URL correct?
Maybe it’s my server. Who knows?
Cheers,

I will post them here,

Looks good for a first time NMF. What did you use for the finish?

Thanks for the comments. I used 2 bottles of Model Master Metalizer I know its not the best choice but all I had at the time.

Hey drigg;
looking great for the first time, by the way have you tried SNJ?, Testors Metalizer has alway given me fits when I try to pollish it, but you may have gotten the touch with it that I never had, keep up the fantastic work and we’ll be seeing you in the Gallery section of the mag

Love it! Nice work!

Looks a HECK of a lot better than my first try ! You’re starting out pretty high on the learning curve ! Keep at it, and let’s see some MORE !

Looks good not to shiny thats good it makes it look moer realistic your doing pretty good for your first time keep it up.

Looks really good. testors metallizers can be a bit a PITA, but you seem to have a knack for it. The only thing that I would or could suggest is to add some arbitrarty panel discoloration
(adding tint to the base metallizer) or polishing some panels more than others.

that is one good looking B-29! keep up the great work!

congrats nice plane, the paint job looks great to me!
