My finished Sherman Pictures

A little sloppy and heavy with the washes. Got carried away with the drybrushing. The scratch engine is missing alot of stuff. But I’m not touching it anymore. Unless … [:D]

Looks good. You did much better than all the 1/72 armor subjects I’ve done combined! [:D]

looks good but if it was’ent for these forums we’re i can see them i’d never see 172 scale.ha ha but it looks good to me keep it up.[8][:)]

Looks good (better than my 1/72 scale models, to small for me)

Very good work , especially on the engine. Thanks for sharing with us.

That is very well done. Good job.

Very nice!!

Nice build, very well done for such a small scale. I just bought the new Tamiya 1/48 Sherman, which looks like it will be a fun build.

Regards, Rick

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I took it to my IPMS meeting tonight. Because it’s 1/72 and its a Sherman, the subject of Tamiya’s 1/48 armor came up. I guess the urge to get one is becoming more like a strong tug now. Oh well what can one do? [;)]

Very nice piece of work I-Beam. And in 1/72 scale to top it off. Thanks for sharing. Semper Fi, mike

[:D]i-beam,well done,nice work.[:D]

Great build! I don’t see where the weathering is heavy at all…but then I’m a fan of eye-catching washes and dry-brushing…

Looks great. I could never manage that in 1/72…no way no how!

That’s a nice Sherman!
