My Finished illuminated AGT Enterprise D

Hello All,

I have finished my AGT Enterprise D. It was a pretty rough build with some major setbacks along the way, but she is finally finished. Just copy and paste or click on the link below and look in the AGT Enterprise D folder.

That looks awsome, I would do it in light blue and medium blue for the azteking but that’s just my personal preference. How long did it take you to drill all the windows? What did you use for lighting?

Awesome looking ship! The D is my least favorite Enterprise but that third nacelle seems to really balance out the design, much better looking.

I took about two months of “on and off” work, and about two weeks to drill out the windows with the pin vice, and I lighted her with cold cathode tubes. Thanks much!

Very, VERY nice work. And personally, I never liked the white-blue aztecking. Maybe I am just too monochrome… but I am partial to the gray-tones look. So you got my vote there!

And whew… that lighting is just awesome! Can just see 'er drifting in the void.

Another awesome build Joe! Great job with the lighting, and all those windows[:O]

where is that big phaser that was on the saucer of the Enterprise D from AGT its not on your model but I saw it on that episode it was on the underside of the saucer section just forward of the lower sensor array it was a boxlike structure.

It is on the bottom side of the saucer section. It is their plain as day in picture 82, 83, 41, and 18[;)]

Now that is cool the last enterprise i buit was the old kit that came with the lights and sound box.

An amazing build. One of my favourite Enterprise designs.

all i can say is that is one very very sweet build joey, very very sharp.

Ehh, well, now lets think, this is spectacular, I built one of these years ago using the Comet Miniatures conversion, is all your extra work scratchbuilt.

Really good work.

Congrats.

Regards,

Terry Burke.

That is one fine job you’ve done Joe. Two thumbs up!!
