Finally i’ve finished my Lancaster, and my first dio.[:D]
I have stuck to my only scale 1/72, hope you enjoy the pics.

every thing I do is hand painted, so some of the detail may not be as good as that with an airbrush[BH], soft edges are done with a piece of foam.[tup]
Oh and please forgive the ailerons both being down[:-^], the fit is too loose and haven’t got round to doing anything about it, hope you don’t notice… Ha

Really nice job! your hallibag and fortress look great as well, is that the airfix halifax kit? what about the fortress is it academy? keep up the great work.

thanks for the kind words guys.
spruceloose, the halifax, lanc, and b17 are all airfix, and the c47 is italeri. I’m kinda on a tight budget for modelling, so generally i get all the cheepest kits and spend ages on them.

She’s looking very good… Nice job!

JoeRugby and I are also currentely working on a 1/72 Lancaster (from Revell).
I’m making a Dambuster and Joe probably will make a Lanc with day-sheme camo…(I think a Grand Slam…)

Our progress will be showed this week…
