Gentlemen,

It has come to my attention that a few of the videos that I have created were posted as “private” on YouTube.

A vexing dilema to me, for sure. However the problm has been resolved.

My only hope is that you are not tired of them by this point.

Hi:

I enjoyed the videos . You have quite a grasp on things nautical . I didn’t know the " CONSTITUTION " had any women on board though , I always was taught this was considered " bad luck "!

As a former Tanker captain , I like your depiction of life on the model .When I build Tanker models I always try to include crew doing their duties . This makes the model come alive .

I find this definitely sets the model apart at shows and contests too . Folks like to see people running about or standing watch . This says to the observer , " this is life aboard ship " Thank You - - - Tanker-builder

Outstanding job…looks like you had loads of fun fashioning the Constitution to represent your impressions…fine job for sure and fun to watch as well. Thanks for all the hard work…it was fun.

I very much enjoyed the videos. You have a sense of humor I appreciate and I enjoyed looking at your interpretation of Connie. The videos were certainly as entertaining as any I’ve seen done regarding ship models and your work on the kit looks very good to me.

@greentracker: Sir, I know not of the people of whom you speak. If you are referring to the painting of the beautiful woman on the lower gun deck, that is a painting created by one of the gun crew: a Mr. Brian O’Neal. The painting is quite popular with the crew, due to her great beauty and carefree manner. Her voluptuous appeal is a slight mystery to me, because of her being so slight in carriage. It appears that she is under fed! Personally, I prefer a more curvaceous figure on a woman, but she is quite stunning. I asked Mr. O’Neal what his inspiration was. He could not answer. It was a mystery to him. He simply felt compelled to paint her, as if guided by a muse, or a distant thought that entered his mind. One of the crew suggested he perhaps knew her in a previous life. He pondered that for a moment and suggested “Perhaps a life I have yet to live! Or at least our next port of call!” Indeed. - Isaac Hull
