My Annual New Kit Wish List -- 2025 version

It’s that time again where a member posts their kit wish list :fishing_pole_and_fish:

I actually found my old kit wish list from 2023 here

I am so glad Fine Molds will be releasing a 1/72 F-4B/N in 2025!

So My Official 2025 Wish list is:

  1. 1/72 Douglas TBD Devestator (Airfix Retool hopefully)
  2. 1/72 Arado 196 (Airfix Retool hopefully)
  3. 1/32 or 1/24 F4U-5N (Pipedream, I know)
  4. 1/72 A-7 Corsair II Series from Fine Molds or Tamiya or even Airfix if they bring their A Game…
  5. 1/72 P-38 From Tamiya
  6. More 1/72 Japanese WW2 Subjects by Arma Hobby !

I wouldn’t call mine a wishlist really, a to do list maybe…. I want to complete my Salvinos jr 24 Larson kit and possibly pick up a few more, I’d like to pick up a 1/16 dragster/funny car as I’ve never done anything that large before (like the 1/16 jungle Jim kit?) I’d also like to build a truck, like freightliner or Peterbilt or something, I have the Peterbilt wrecker in my stash but I want to hold on to that one for awhile. On the armor side I don’t have any real list, I love doing armor but I kinda just grab what looks interesting or what’s on sale. Maybe next year I’ll have an actual list instead of a bunch of words…

Well,no aircraft on my wish list, however I would like to see:

A new tooled 1/350 SMS Emden,I would even take a 1/200 version

A WWII 1/350 Secret German Raider,like Atlantis,Pinguin,Orion,or Kormoran

Chris, I hear HobbyBoss is releasing a TBD.

Clear Prop did the Ki-51 a few years ago I’d like them to expand that with a Ki-15,Ki-30,Ki-32. I like those odd light bomber, recon planes

Mine is towards dioramas supplies / tools at this time. After saving for a while I just purchased a new Ortur Laser Master Pro S2 laser cutter for making my own diorama structures and other structural components. My next “Want” is a 3d printer lol.

Mine’s rather pedestrian. Many promise a new 1/32 P-51B but nobody delivers!

Great aircraft

For sure John, I am with you there. A 1/32 P-51B would be quite welcome!

I’d like to see a new A-20 Havoc, not going to be picky on the variant, in 48th. I’m hoping HK Models scales down their 32nd Havoc soon.

And I’d still love to see a 48th B-32 Dominator, but that’s probably a unicorn. I know there is a kit out there, but it’s not an injection molded kit if I am remembering correctly.

Funny that I made my post about wanting a new 48th A-20 Havoc, and then while looking at Scalemates.com, I came across this:

HK Models A-20 B/C Havoc

The 1/32 P-51B-/C kits are coming. Just remain at the bus stop, and soon more than one will come by. One bus is from Zoukei Mura. I forget the other one. Eduard or Revell?

Oh, and I’d like to add a 1/48 B-57G with Pave Gat from ICM.

I wouldn’t say no to a 1/35 Gun Carrier Mark I from WWI, since I’m not eager to spend over $200USD on a conversion set.

I have an older Trumpeter P-51B in my stash. Not sure if the quality on that kit is lacking or not.

It has serious shape issues, Steven. Aggravating!

@jeaton01
Maybe I’ll sell mine then.
