I have an old RareBits conversion kit; the YP-37 in 1/72. Itā€™s just a fuselage and canopy, designed to work with a P-36 kit. Maybe somedayā€¦

Yes! Yes! Yes! That has also been at the top of my wishlist. Even a new mold 1/72 would give me great satisfaction.

Mach 2 makes an injected B-45 and Trumpeter makes an injected Ultra Sabre, both in 1/72.

Yeah, Iā€™d like to see one, too. I know you can get a conversion kit, but itā€™d be nice to have a ready-to-go kit.

1/48 B-45, and a Convair XB-46 in 1/72. The prettiest jet bomber never built in series production.

I know Mach 2 did the B-45 in 1/72. I have it, but itā€™s not much of a kit fit wise, and the canopy isnā€™t even any good for making a vac copy.

I just got my latest issue of FineScale yesterday, with the results of FSMā€™s poll on kits weā€™d like to see. I see that other sci-fi builders agreed with me that weā€™d like to see an injection-molded kit of Serenity, enough that that was the No. 1 selection in that category.

I also see that my perennial suggestion of a 1/48 B-32 Dominator matches that of other modelers. It made the list of the top 5 in 1/48. The Dominator is also one that Braille-scale builders would like to see (no pun intended).

My 1/700 CV-1 and CV-4 didnā€™t make the cut, though, nor did my 1/48 C-46.

I thought I would revive this thread with a wishlist item. Iā€™d love a new tooled ME-262 with lots of cool detail in 1:48 or 1:32 scale. It would be fun to have open access panels for engines and guns.

Iā€™d like Academy to re-release their CH-53E and Italeri to re-release their Jayhawk - or maybe ICM will do one.

Iā€™d love it if someone got hold of the molds from Wing Nut Wings and started releasing those beautiful WWI aircraft kits again.

I think my local hobby shop has a few on the shelf. They buy collections and have an eclectic supply of models. Itā€™s a lot of fun to browse and dream of being able to buy all the fun looking kits.
