My airbrush?

I recently bought a double action airbrush from harbor frieght tool. It is from central pneumatics. I believ the model number is 95180. can anyone help me? i need a new compressor and air hose?

If it’s the Central Pneumatics “Deluxe Airbrush” the part number is 95810, not 95180. This compressor is made by the same folks, with an included regulator/filter, and hose. I would guess the hose is designed to mate up with their own airbrush, but would probably call to find out.

You can also download the product manual (10 pages) which gives assembly instructions and a parts breakdown.

I am curious, have you used it yet?

I got a Paasche VL with accessories and 2 needles for $65ppd via flea-bay, but I am still very curious about that thing.

Actually the fitting on the CP compressor is not proprietary. Depending on which route you set it up, the fitting is either the fitting from a standard fullsize compressor(you can get the hose from bearair for 10 bucks), or it’s the same fitting as on the airbrush itself(many other sources for that one).

I have that compressor and it works great. Early on it’s duty cycle is pretty much unlimited as long as you keep it somewhat cool. As time goe son though the duty cycle will shrink ot about 10-15 minute son and 15-20 minutes off. You will notice it if you turn it off, and it powers down and shakes itself instead of just cutting off immediately. It’s a good working compressor. The only thing I can suggest about it is to get rid of that regulator, it SUCKS! I’m actually using the regulator that came with an inexpensive(30-40 bucks or so) HVLP top feed auto spray gun. Works much better.
