My nine year old daughter has built a few models now. This is her second all glue build. It is the Tamiay M151A2 that she built as a civilian vehicle loaded up for a camping trip. She built the whole thing herself, with a little help from dad. She even did most of the painting, to include details. I’m very proud of her. She is quite talented (in my opinion, I may be biased) and has a really steady hand for a nine year old. Hope you like it.
Comments, concerns, bitches and complaints welcome. Go easy though, it is only about her 4th model.
Hey Gino, that is plain cool. Your daughter has a future here, no doubt. I know I didn’t do that well at nine. She did a fine job painting too. The dog is a nice touch. [:)]
Wow, that is really great! I can only hope my daughter enjoys that when she grows up (she is almost 4 and did her first a couple weeks back- a snap tite F-18, which she painted and covered in stickers, with some help.)
Thats just great Gino. Very creative, and a wonderful use of color, and imagination. Be sure and praise her work for us, and tell her we look forward to seeing more of it. Semper Fi, mike
Tell your daughter to be proud of herself, and you should be, too! She’s done a great job for a 9-year-old! I remember my builds from when I was that age, and I couldn’t touch that! She has a future in this hobby!
I noticed the clean "glass " as well , she seriously did a very good job on that jeep .
I love the colors kids come up with for finish paint , my son did the same on a sports car we built together a year back .
A very, very nice job. I’m sure she’ll be displaying it in a special place in her room.
Dad, time to add a shelf or two to house her growing collection!
