My 7 for 2008

Ah, what the heck…I’ll throw my 7 builds out there. This is my first year back after close to a decade away from the hobby.

I’m barely a 5’ modeler, so these served as some good practice. Still a lot to (re)learn. (Let me apologize in advance for the quality of my pix.)

Testors 1/48. Built these as a “study” for a future “art” project.

Mostly OOB with aftermarket & custom decals, and LOTS of artistic license.

Monogram 1/48 -D & -F boxing. Built mostly OOB with aftermarket decals and some artistic license.

Two Monogram 1/48 “A-18 Strike Fighter” boxings, and a Testors 1/48. Built OOB with some minor scratch, aftermarket decals, and some artistic license. These fought me all the way, so, lots of issues with these.

The Thud and Hornets are incredible, and certainly look flawless to me! I’m really loving the Agresor paint scheme! Very interesting…

But the Propellor on the Mustang is certainly most interesting! I’ve seen those aftermarket “blurred” propellors, but I think yours are far more realistic to the eye! Very good year at the bench, and very well done![tup]
