Hi guys,
I was just wondering if I could ask your opinions of my second 1/35th AFV. It’s Alan’s Panzer I Ausf. F with MK tracks and Aber PE parts. I also used the PzIV OVM parts from Tamiya. I wasn’t sure how to post the pics here but they’re over at Missing Lynx here:

I’d really appreciate any feedback cos I’m a pretty new modeller.
Thanks in advance!
Scott
Looks great, didn’t notice any boo-boos to point out.
Very Nice pal… Good job on the weathering…
Very good ,great weathering liked the nix in the road wheels, I havnt seen that very often
Thanks for the pix. love the subject too.[:)]
Hey that is just great ! The detail and camo are just fantastic . And great photos BTW , what camera did you use ?[8D]
Beautiful job. Love the effects on the tracks, tow hooks and handles. Great weathering.
Welcome to FSM Armor by the way.
That is excellent work, Scott! [tup][tup]
Please don’t put that beauty anywhere near my BMP-3 at the Shizuoka show this weekend, 'cuz you’ll make me look bad!![xx(]
Seriously, that’s a mighty fine li’l tank. The camo, the weathering, the detailing…you got yourself a total package right there.
See ya this weekend![:D]

Are you saying that your a pretty new modeler???
I find that hard to believe [;)] .That little Panzer I is a thing of beauty, it looks awesome. [bow]
Welcome to FSM’s “dark side” looking forward to more posts from you.
Thanks very much guys! I used a Canon Ixy 400 (Jpanese model name) and sunlight to take the pics. Monrad, thanks for the praise…I’m just trying to learn the tricks of the trade.
Brian, if it’s anything like last year, it’s gonna be a GREAT weekend!
Thanks again!
Scott
Really looks great to me, Scott. It’s hard to believe you’re a newbie. Especially with PE and MK tracks. I still struggle with both, a lot!! lol
I especially like the tow shackles! Are they kit parts or did you am them? What did you used for the headlight lenses? They look real nice, too.
Really a great job.
Welcome to the darkside forum.
Very nicely done Scott.
Great job on a not so great kit !!
Refreshing to see something a little different too.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, wipw! I used the kit shackles but out of 4 in the box only 2 weren’t broken…it’s not a good kit unfortunately. The headlight lenses are the Grief lenses - they’re excellent.
Thanks for the info, Scott. I’ve wanted to build an Alan PzII, but now you’ve given me second thoughts on the matter. I can’t find Grief lenses around here. I’ve heard of them, of course. Thanks for the pics so I can see what they look like.
Wipw, if you like light tanks, I’d actually recommend the Alan Pz IIJ. It’s not a great kit but its a great base to work with and it gives you a real sense of achievement when you actually finish it. Plenty of scratch building involved!
Scott
That is one sweet model looks like your an expert already nice job!
looks awesome man all of it …all I can say is you have some beginners luck[:D]
Wow Scott, I’ve been modeling for years and mine don’t look that good. That’s a nice looking kit, did it go together well?
[:p]Me, too. (Almost two for me, in fact.)
I’d be happy if my 2nd work was that good.
Welcome to the forum and very nice job.
awesome build. and youve been building how long??? i believe i should take up another hobby. [:D] it really is amazing as to the level of detail you have achieved. well done.
