I learned a lot from the models I built in 2006. I’ve discovered that I like a bit of a cleaner look, I like my ww2 plane in 1/48 and my jets in 1/72, I can overcome most of my careless or rushed mistake, but it’s much easier to take my time in the first place, and finally I learned that the modeling bug is not leaving me anytime soon.

I love building the P-47 for some reason. I think it’s a combination of the great tamiya kit, the large and varied number of nose art decals out there, and the plane itself just scream buy and build me everytime I see a thunderbolt kit.

Look great, Ted. I’m not a big fan of dirtying up my builds either, so here’s to clean builds [#toast]
