Hey I’m new to the site. I love the P-51 Mustang and currently have 7 kits of the great fighter. I also build aircraft of any scale and I build ships. I recently built the Trumpeter Essex and am currently working on an F-86 Sabre Dog. Not too skill savy but I enjoy the hobby for what it is: a chance to get away from the world and see my favorite planes up close.

P-51, Great little ship, I like to think it’s the early version of the Eagle, saw them flying side by side at an airshow once, what a sight. Didn’t have the camera handy at the time though, darn it. I share your admiration for the Mustang, got a few in kits reserve as well! I also have to agree that you should get a chance to see one at an air show if you can. Once you see that airframe, and hear that Merlin! … you think your hooked now…
