Ok, so I go by Hobby Lobby to pic up some thinner for my a/b and I’m thinking, dont go look at the kits, you will spend waaay to much money on something you dont really need. Besides, I have enough at home waiting to be built right?? WRONG! So I walk over to the next aisle thinking to myself " Ok, I’m just gonna look" right[:-^]?? WRONG! BAm, I see AM’s SBD-2 Dauntless 50% off and I am thinking “That’s not to bad[:)], 16 bucks for a pretty good kit” so I grab it. Then before I can escape the evil clutches of the kit aisle[}:)], something else grabs my eye. Dragons 1/35th Sherman Firefly Vc 50% off !! I think “Another 16 bucks, damn!! Get it, dont get it, get it, dont get it” But alas I have a weak soul and no will and I gave in to the evil kit aisle[}:)] and got it too. Now, where is the womens shoe department at in Profitts?(got to be ready when the wife gets home)[%-)]

I did that when I was in like 2nd grade (in Korea, we used to have like a mini school store that carried Legos and Academy models). I went into the store to buy some pencil sharpeners and then BAM I see the Apache 1/48… it was 5000 won then, which is a teeny bit less than 5 bucks, but that’s still big to a second grader. I bought it, took it home, and got my but whooped…
Had to take it back to the store for a refund lol…

I did the same thing…I picked up a Tamiya F4U 1D, ME262, and an AM F 6 Mustang all in 1/48. they were all on the clearance table for 70% off. I could not resist.
Oh they didnt have the F4U or it would have came home with me too!

The last 4 or 5 times that I have gone into Hobby Lobby to check on their sales, I have left empty handed! I know, I am a weird, wandering sole lost to the dark side. I already have more kits than I can possibly build in this life time and probably the next, so why spend money I could use on AM parts or some long OOP item on evil bay.
