Yeah, I would highly recommend using www.finescale.com for now. Something is definitely not working right on the other server, which is where cs.finescale.com is being served from.

It’s probably going to be like that while both urls are setup for the forums. I’m hoping we can get this resolved sometime next week. In the meantime… use your imagination. [;)]

I remember what it was like when I programed. The little things sometimes helped you figure out the big problems. I wrote a hangman program once that crashed whenever certain words were used and one frame of the animation always failed to load and it skiped it. Turned out some coding got switched fixing the animation helped fix the whole thing. I thought the smilies might help narrow down the protocals with bugs in them.

to the best of my knowledge, it’s just you[:O] Seems to be running like it’s usual self to me. May be you need to clear your cache??
Hmm, the forums run lightning fast at home, but slow at work. I’ll try clearing the cache on my work laptop. Might be some leftover stuff in the cache freaking out at the server change. [:O]
could be a conspiracy too seeing how it’s a “work” lap top[:-^]

hmmm, cleared my cache, then it seemed to go a little faster, until I tried to post. Very, very slow.
Scott, there’s a “special” setting to make the forums slower for specific users. Like for you, I’ve set it to “intermittent periods of slowness”.
There were some configuration adjustments made to that one server and forum traffic was redirected to use cs.finescale.com around 10am (CST) today. Still feels a bit slow at times though.

Ok Dave, I see yer at it again[:O] Still sluggish but, not as bas as before. It seems to take about twice as long to upload a page as it does on the original link (the non “cs.”)

Well David, we know your doing your best at this. Friday’s just don’t agree with you [:D] It took nearly 2 minutes just to get onto this page and start a post. I’m not complaining [angel][:-^], just letting you know. I think it will be the only post I get today. I tried to use the other forum address, but was bumped to the //cs.fin… one.
Keep at it, we know you are and will get it fixed soon as you can. We’re patient, till Ed finds out anyway[:-,][(-D] Unless I’m on the same plan as Scott, then…
Edit: Now I can again get on using the old url. Everything works fine one again, but can’t see some smilies still.
