I am receiving anywhere from 3 to 5 email notifications for a single post to the forum. I have checked and the problem does not seem to be my server.
This is an ongoing issue Ross. I’m getting them, too (actually four!!).

It was quite bad, but it’s OK now (fingers crossed!)
I started getting them again last week after a couple of weeks without them. I’m getting each one 2 times now. At one point it was up to 4 and 5 times each. I hope that this is not a problem with the new set-up FSM is going to have. It used to pop up only on weekends, but now it happens during the week too. If my memory serves me right ( and at my age, most of the time it doesn’t) this all started in September.

Since the changeover to the new format, I have been inundated with e-mail announcements, to threads I may be interested in and many more to those that I have never read. I have tried disabling every option dealing with e-mail, all to no avail. Can anyone help me slay this dragon?
I do not get the multiple emails, but what I do get is an email telling me there is a new post to the thread and it turns out to be MY post??? I’m pretty sure I don’t need a reminder on what I typed.
No, you don’t, but the software can’t distinguish between who posts, only that there is a new post.
That would be nice to fix though, I do believe the old style didnt do that. Just saying, its kinda odd that’s all.
I too don’t need an e-mail of the post I just posted, or the new topic I just posted, but hey, in FSMs eyes anything is regarded as progress, right?
