Well this is her so far. Sealed the decals with future and will mask off the entire stang again tomorrow to flat caot the od. This isnt my best effort but she didnt start out to be a show winner, just testing out my painting stuff for my stang ranch build.

Alclad2 Dull Alum. Here are a series of better pics. My bench lanp made some wierd light on the first series.

Looking good! I have a similar decal sheet in 1/72 and the only thing preventing me from going ahead with the build is what green to use. I’ve read references saying it is olive drab, others medium green.

Chris… that green and yellow checkered nose band gave me fits and a sliced up finger.
Obiwan… Yeah I like the Dull alum too, didnt want my stang to look to new because my stang ranch build of Petie 3rd with be quite weathered, and needed a good base to work it off. Thats the only reason I built this kit.

JB I toyed for a moment with the idea of doing those Doll decals but decided to stay on my original plan, I dont envy you on those… they gotta be rough.

Looks great…couldn’t see the first pics you posted, but then again it seems my computer isn’t liking the forums these days.
Thanks again guys. Ok another update. I flatcoated all the painted areas. This is the money shot, what I needed to learn to do. Make sure I didnt ruin my nice NMF finish in the process. I believe I got it. I am now working on the detaikls and the next pics posted will be the finished product [;)].
