Is there a product similar to Mr. Surfacer that is easier to find in the U.S.?
How about Tamiya Surface Primer Fine. That is usually available at the LHS in my area, whereas Mr. surfacer availability is spotty.
Don
In bottled form (ie not a spray can) Tamiya Liquid Surface Primer. Comes in 40ml jars and in white or grey.
One of the nice things about the Tamiya product is that it is soluble in denatured alcohol, so in certain circumstances, it’s easier to work with than Mr Surfacer (doesn’t require lacquer thinner for cleanup) and can be smoothed after application using a paper towel moistened with the aforementioned denatured alcohol.
