Mr. Color help and explanation

I’ve been checking around, but I still don’t understand these paints and how they work.So I posting again…please forgive me as I am new to the hobby

I am currently using mr. color paints to build me BF109E “night fighter”

The paint I was using is RLM02 Gray. Based on my research I used it with Laquer thinner (medium drying)

When I started to airbrush the paint started to cake on in a thin stringy fashion as if my air brush was spiderman. I don’t understand why it did this, can anyone help???

Thanks

Nick

From what I’ve read and what my guys at the LHS have explained, this paint works great with it’s own brand of thinner. The LHS guy had the spidering effect that you described. He said it stopped once he used the Gunze thinner for Mr. Color. His airbrush was an Iwata Revolution with .5mm tip.
