Most detailed WWII German figures

Hello All!! F N G here to this forum. I have been out of modeling for about 20 years (4 kids will do that to a hobby!) and am looking to dust off the old x-acto and paint brushes but have a questions. Who nowadays makes the all around most detailed 1/35 WWII German figures these days? I was always acustomed to Tamiya but from what I have seen there are many more companies out there to choose from as well as tons of variations. Just lookin for any ones favorites. Thanks all.

The best in plastic is Dragon. Their latest, Generation 2, figures are better than many resin companies in detail and quality. Dragon has a huge selection as well, just about anything that you are looking for.

I’ve seen the Gen 2 Dragon figures and cuncur with Gino. They have the best bang for the buck.

Dragon, Tristar, Verlinden, Warriors, Alpine, all make some really nice figures. The Dragon and Tristar are cheaper than the rest. The others are resin and are considerably more expensive but very nicely done.

Don’t know much about Tristar. I am very happy with Dragon, Jaguar and Verlinden. However, for the fraction of cost of Resin kits, you can get a lot more of dragon. Some newer Tamiya is alright, but their choice is very limited compared to Dragon.

Thank you all for your responses. I have been at greatmodels a webstore listed from other posts for what amounts to hours. All I can say is WOW!!! Things have definitly changed in 20 years. Far to many kits available online to choose from Used to be only what was at a local hobby shop and that was very limited or the adds in my old military modeler magazine. Unbelievable!!!
