Okay, my BMP 2 is almost ready to finish painting. Then I shall be able to start detailing it.

Here is a shot of the Photo Etch that went on the turret to simulate applique armor:

Sorry about the poor quality of the picture. Here it is after the side skirts were put on, and most of the base coat was started:

Then after this, I was able to put on the final Photo Etch parts:

Now, the kit basecoat has been finished and the Pattern painted on, but I haven’t got pics of that yet. I’ll probably have them up in a day or so.

It feels good to finally be on the Homestretch with this thing!

Actually, it came in the kit! Very convenient, especially since I can’t afford P/E. I’ve found that ACE includes P/E in nearly all their kits, particularly their most recent releases.

Pity there were none in the Gaskin kit…
