More realistic Drive belts and pulleys?

Are there aftermarket companies other TRUE DETAILS and MODEL CAR GARAGE?

I’m looking for pulleys with teeth and drive belts with ribbing.

Thank you!

Try Modelhaus or R&D Unique. I know somebody makes a lot of aluminium aftermarket parts, but can’t remember off hand exactly who. Not sure about Wieand, but surf the net !!

Thanks Bob!

What I really want iz pulleys with teeth and a belt with the inside ‘ribbed’ texture…

OK! NO RIBBED JOKES!! [:p]

Check out this site-

http://www.mas-parts.com/

Look under “Drag Car Detailing Components” then on the left frame click on “Pulley Systems” They have real nics cogged belts.

YUP!

I wuz just about to add to this post about MAS…I just found it!

SWEET!!! I’m ordering two sets! one for each version of my Mad Max cars!

YES!!!

Thanks anyways Enzo! [:D]

IIRC MAS has stopped production and is no longer accepting online orders as of July 03; apparently you may still be able to find any items that are left in stock at NNL meetings. You might try this site as they are still in production:

Thanks lowdog!

I’m at work and the pics look like crap here… which company is better?..I’m always afraid that the belts are too thick for 1/24 - 1/25 scale?

Looks great though!

THANKS!

I compared both pulley sets and Arrowhead Aluminum parts looked to thick…the cog count was too low:

While the MAS pulleys and belts looked MUCH better! more in scale I think!
So I bought two of the sets below …BOTH sets are 10.00 USD each so it wasn’t a hard choice.

They are in normal opperation …but no longer taking ‘ON LINE’ orders.
Real nice folks!

Glad to hear you were able to find the pulleys and belts you were looking for! I knew MAS had stopped taking online orders, and I thought I had read where they were backing off production due to time constraints(?) - guess I was mistaken; nice to know you’re still able to purchase their products. They do really nice work!
