can’t wait to see pics! Which decals did you end up getting?

If I don’t have a digital camera is there another way to get pics on for all to see? I really want participate in this forum fully. I’m new to this stuff, obviously. Just got the computer a while back. Have a Dell AI 920 color Fax/printer. My wife bought the computer to run CAD software for her schooling and future job. Think decals were Aeromaster. They’re a collection of insignias and the red dots that go on them. Haven’t received them yet.

The decals were CAM decals. Custom Aeronautical Miniatures.

Steve if you or someone you know has a scanner, either a flatbed or a slide scanner just simply scan the images in and then you can proceed the same way as if you had a digital camera. You can get a good scanner for under $100 to $200, these days. Good Luck.
Hi Steve! good to talk to ya. If ya don’t have a digital camera, most photo processing stores now can put your pics on a photo CD for ya.
Only thing to watch for, is most are in bitmap format whose files are huge (typically over 1 meg each). So what you can do, is open them with your favorite photo editor, and then save them as .jpg files which are much smaller.
Hope this helps[:D]
I forgot about that. I think there may even be a Digital throw away camera out there now.

Thanks for the knowledge. Just asked my son who is a whiz and he’ll get some pics on for me in the future.

Hey ST,
Once you get your pics back after developing them you can post them in online photo albums like yahoo which are free and them paste the links so people can view them. This is what I use mainly because Ive never figured out hot to do the whole, find a server, load the pics thing… there are other here with more knowledge about that but I never figured it out. This works, its easy and free if you need more info about it lemme know. Also decent digital cams are on ebay all the time. Can pick up one for about $120.00 and up depending on the quality
My Dell has an All-in-one 920. Scans well. I guess I’m in business, partially.
