Do you congratulate em for an awsome display or sneer at em for being stupid enough to try it in the first place? What would posses some one to try and bleed off altitude when you already less than 20ft off the deck? The shock waves in the surf was a nice touch though when the mirage pulled up… like something out of a Dru Blair painting

Thats french for ya we never said they were smart. Now if a couple of are pilots did something like they get the book thrown at them and probibly lose there flight status. ive notice all the crazy stuff is done by forign countrys.
OK, it may not be smart, but to do a roll at that altitude is amazing. Those guys have brass… (rhymes with “walls”)… They must clank when they walk down the flight line…
That was some absolutely AMAZING flying! Makes me ponder the following:
Are they CRAZY!
Would the Blue Angels possibly consider a Joint pilot program?
What would a Mirage 2000 or Jaguar look like in Blue Angels livery?
How fast can I model a Mirage 2000 or Jaguar or both?
Wonder what other fast jet pilots think of this footage?
Is there any (airborne or land based) radar in the world that could see them moving that fast and low?

maybe you didn’t notice the fact that the names on the helmets where censured. I think it’s because french pilots arn’t supossed to do this either…
These things probably happen in any AF, jet pilots that push the envelope…
It makes a nice video, though.
