Ok i know i posted a topic about washes earlier. well i forgot to mention something when i did that so i figure i would start a new thread. I think it was feb 2005 may have been earlier. It was the cover story. It was detailing a iraq war bradley. Does anybody have that artical? i lost mine and going through a divorce i cant afford a new copy :(. If anybody has it and could copy it or scan it and e-mail it to me it would be greatly appericated. I have a new Tamiya kit thats a great subject of the Bradley mentioned in the artical but it does not have a intertior and i would like to build 1 before i finish it
It was the FEB '04 issue. All you need to do to get an interior for the M2A2 ODS is add the interior from the older Tamiya M2 kit, or the Academy copy of it. They both simply drop in place since the hull is the same. Another option is to call Tamiya (they sell individual kit sprues) and order just the interior sprue out of the M2 kit. It should be available since they recently reissued the kit. Here is their contat info: http://www.tamiyausa.com/contact/index.php
With the M2 kit interior, it will build into an M2A2 ODS with older style seating, less common, but still out there. The most current M2A2 ODS is basically the same interior with the individual seats removed and replaced with M113-style bench seats that run along either side of the hull.
In the Feb '04 issue, he updates the older Tamiya M2A2 (non-ODS) version. Most of the items he corrected are already fixed in the M2A2 ODS kit For a more complete aticle on the M2A2 ODS corrections, check out Vodnik’s article. http://vodnik2.republika.pl/pages/m2a2/m2a2-p1.htm
