I have done what most recommend and that is thin the paint more than usual and use low pressure. I can get the thin line but it is too transparent to paint anyway? What can be done here? I am using Model Master paints and a Paasche VL airbrush.
You’ve got to build it up with multiple layers. It’s impossible to get good coverage in one attempt.
Maybe the paint is too thin? Some paints may not need to be thinned more than normal for fine lines. Depends upon the person, airbrush, paint…Just practice and find a thinning ratio that works best for you. Fine lines and freehand camo is more about technique I think, then paints and thinning ratios, and types of airbrushes.
