Has anybody delt with Monsters in Motion? I finally have enough money to buy a certain kit from them but an not sure how reliable they are.
I’d like to hear from anyone one who has ordered from them.
Thank you

Wish I could post pics, I’d get in on some of these group builds. I’m sending for it this week after I call them to double check they have the item in stock and that I’ll be sending them my payment. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Why can’t you post pics, No Cam ?
Bud
Nope. Still use film and not that good with computers. Way behind the curve compared to most.
Do you have a Scaner ?
Bud
It’s totally mixed. I’ve heard horror stories about their service and I’ve heard a lot of customer praise too. Some vendors claim they have a really hard time getting paid for their product. But you have to take all this as I do, as heresay. I won’t order from them as they have recast some kits. I’ve come into their War of the Worlds diorama and Seaview sub through second-hand sales and the quality seems good overall. Excellent service and quality products from Federation Models, Starship Modeler Store, X-O Facto, Timeslip Creations, Skyhook Models, and through individual producers keep me pretty satisfied, even though there’s a couple of things on MiM’s site that I would LOVE to get! But it seems a mixed bag dealing with them directly. Sorry this doesn’t clarify anything, but that’s the impression they make. Good luck with it! So what kit are you thinking about getting?
I’m looking at the 1/48th Gunstar. You can see why I’m checking around first, that’s a lot of money.
Funny you should ask about a scanner. My old printer just quit and the only thing I could pick up was a scanner/printer. At the moment, I have very little idea about how to use it and am not that good with computers anymore.
Since my last job in the Air Force was keeping track of pilots training and flying on a terminal it’s strange that I’m so lost so easily.
The Gunstar arrived today! The box weighed in at a hefty 6 pounds. This is going to be some monster. It comes molded in blue, has a clear vac canopy, display stand, and detailed cockpit.
