A recent thread on here got me thinking and I pulled out an old project and did some work on it. This was originally built by my son before he was taken by video games. I had turned the gear around after the nose gear got broken off, but it never really looked right.
So I did some internet research and did some updating on this PA-22/20.
I took the gear off and narrowed the legs and repositioned them. Then I modified the lower cowl, touched up the paint (brush) and added some decal stripes down the side.
Its not perfect but is about as good as I will get it for the time being. It reminds me of the one my uncle flew when I was growing up in SW Alaska.
