Monogram "ProModeler" Ju-88C-6(D-1)

Here’s the Ju-88 coming down the home stretch (Started the 1st week of January). Need to gloss and decal it, then finish the canopy(s)and a few small details. Doing it in the colors of the USAAF/RAF, after being handed in by a defecting Rumanian pilot; the actual aircraft now resides in the Dayton AF Museum, albeit in it’s “original” Rumanian colors. This old Dragon mold is a real piece of work, I’ll say that…!More wide open gaps than Miss West Virginia’s smile…

Looks great so far, be sure and post pics when it’s done. An unusual scheme, will it have British or US insignia? I know what you mean about fit. I started the JU-88-A4 about a year ago and it’s been sitting underneath my workbench for the last few months. Have to build up more strength in my sanding arm before I go back to it.

looks good from this end.

Very very nice! [8D] I’m looking forward to the finish line. [;)]

Very nice looking 88, jkelleycrna…

The cockpit looks very detailed and I like the paint scheme…a different touch…

Nice job attaching the wings & forward fuselage to the main fuselage. Those can be tough areas with that kit. Did you drop both ailerons, or are they not glued yet? Looking forward to the finished bird.

Very nice work Have two of these to build JOHN

They’re dropped!

JK

looks pretty cool…like the look of the cockpit! which decal set did you use?[:)]

interesting camo and very well done too.
the dropped ailerons add a nice touch.
will keep an eye out for this one for when its completed

ps : love the angle on the first photo , truly brings out the lines of
the ol’ 88

Thanks for the compliment!! There are’nt any decals in the cockpit, all details are handpainted. The national markings(U.S) are from Cutting Edge, and will hopefully be applied this week.
