Overall a very nice finish [Y]

But two small critiques:

  1. the P-47C did not have wing pylons. It only had a centerline hardpoint. Wing pylon hardpoints were not added until the D.

  2. the P-47C did not have the lower cowl flaps. Those were added on the D to improve engine cooling

But if one does not know a C from a D, and these are only small details, it looks the part [;)]

I built the Monogram Gabreski model ( I think it was a -D) back in the day.

Have you ever read “Zemke’s Wolfpack”??? It’s a pretty good read.

I did a Mustang in 4FG colors just recently.

Hub is a hero of mine, thus his plane, great book.

Using an airbrush is far easier then it seems, all you really have to do is get used to how to clean hem and judge the denisty of paints so they flow correctly.
