I stumbled across this old kit today and picked it up. It’s a totally plated Packard in chrome and gold with rubber tires.

I’d never heard of this kit. It was issued during the 20 years or so I was away from the hobby.

Normally I build ships, aircraft and spacecraft, but I’ve a friend who digs this old Packard, and as a change of pace I thought I try to complete it for the holidays.

Anybody remember this kit? Built it?

I built the unplated version about 30 years ago. It was a beautiful kit that practically falls together. Painted mine with a dark maroon chassis and fenders with a cream body.Got a first at a local contest. Still have an extra kit in my stash I should build again. Have fun! modelbob@hotmail.com
