I’ve got an old Monogram 1/48 scale F-100D that I built for my father. I built the exact aircraft he crew chiefed on in Tuy Hoa, South Vietnam.
The problem is that it didn’t weather his move back to Alaska too well, and got busted up. Now I have repaired everything except the main airbrake and nose gear is missing. Now I’m sure a lot of you would say “just scratch build them”. That’s a fair statement, but considering that I’m fixing it for my old man, I have a favor to ask…
Does anyone have these parts to spare???
Maybe from an old model collecting dust or waiting to be holed up by a BB gun?
Mate,
If I had them, I’d give them to you in a second - you just have to repair your dad’s plane.
Don’t worry - there’ll be SOMEONE on this forum who will have the bits you need.
Good luck!
if you go to Revell/Monogram they will send you the missing parts for a cost of shipping and the total amount of part per year is 10 so might think of which parts are most needed
