Other than True Details’ weighted wheels (item 48032), and decals I know of nothing else…
I think DJ is right. I’ve tried to get a hold of the Paragon flaps and props but I’m being told that they no longer exist. I’ve seen these parts advertised in flyers only to call up and get told that they are out of production. (Gee…then why did the advertise them???)

Unfortunately, those publications are usually printed long before you see them (which accounts for the discrepencies in product availability). I, too, have been skunked by that trick…
Meteorprod.com still has Paragon SB conversion sets availible for the Monogram kit as well as masks.
Paragon had a lot of stuff for the B-29 like a B-50 conversion, an SB-29 Super Dumbo conversion, a KB-29 tanker conversion, a Tu-4 Bull Turboprop conversion, a Tarzon bomber conversion, dropped flaps, Hamilton Standard Props (KMC had some too) .
Ive got 2 B-29’s in 1:48 one is Lucky Leven the standard B-29 and the other is Enola Gay the atomic bomber. I always wanted to be able to get enough B-29s, enough space and time to get all of those conversions and just build one huge fleet of B-29s… but that hasnt happened yet.
thanks guys . one thing though there is not much of paragon product sold here maybe need to dig from the site. I just let the B29 lying here ,as i also need to work out the metal surface.
however thanks guy . as i need to collected some of the aftermarket parts to built it i guess , sighs bcause malaysia do not have anyone selling its parts

B-17E, Finished the wing seams and completed installation of the belly turret and sighting blister last night. I have to fashion four small windows to mount around the belly turret sighting blister and then she is ready for the first complete coat of primer. That may happen today! While paint is drying I will finish work on a review of Dragon’s Me262B.
Oh ok hope i can get to c it in your website , u be putting in there wont u ?
Of course - should be up later today.
I have 2 B29s, one since the 1986 and the other one bought one year ago!
Both models are Monogram Kit of 1977!!
The first that I built when I was teenager was orrible!
Then two years ago I decided to remodel it thoroughly.
I looked for some items on the net and I found a lot of!

I also found a link around the Props and I bought it!!
Terrible, the item’s name deceives. Infact it is “B29 Hamilton standard props”, but it’s wrong!
Don’t buy it!
IS THERE ANYONE WHO KNOWS The B29 Curtis props? Or other B29 props for 1/48 scale??
I’m still looking for it and I’m desperate!!!
There used to be a couple companies that made Hamilton Standard Props for the B-29, but they are OOP. If you don’t mind getting another B-29 kit the latest realese of the B-29 has both the Hamilton Standard and Curtis Electric props. It has a new sprue that includes the HS props and a few new parts.

The Academy 1/48th P-40 goes together well but has some accuracy and shape issues. Still, it looks nice once finished. I’d at least recommend going with aftermarket decals, since Academy’s are notoriously fickle.
