What is Monogram trying to represent with the cut out areas on the forward fuselage? Hopefully the image will come threw.
I have received info from another source that the Monogram kit fuselage is molded as an RB-36 and the area in the picture is where the doors which cover the camera windows open into. Thanks to all who looked in.
Yes indeed, Monogram tooled up their kit to be the reconnaissance variant, the RB-36H. The only ordnance included for the bomb bay is photo flash bombs. The size and set up of the bomb bays was completely different between the bomber and recon variants.
