Monogram 1/72 B-1 Lancer Completed

The mongoose, lol, glad I could help.[:D] It barely fits there, but it does fit with the wings all the way back. The Skymaster fits well, and I also have a 1/144 C-17 and B-52 on corner shelves.

Thank you Toshi!

Well done, Keyda. Looks like a mother hen with all those eggs underneath.

Wow! Great looking “Bone”! Although this is not my field of interest, I like your bomber very much. Congratulations!

Thank you so much!

Nice build Keyda, well done.

Wow, that was quick, and not only the model is clean and nice looking, your work area is all organized and looks like your ready for the next project.

I’d be embarrassed to show my work bench at the moment, I think there are 7 models in various stages of completion, the odd bag of cookies and 3 remotes for my satellite, tv and DVD. Not to mention about 30 bottles of paint all over the place, etc etc.

Thank you! I know, I try to slow done sometimes too, it doesn’t seem to work though. Once I start something it bugs the hell out of me until it’s finished, lol.

I have to be organized. I tend to clean up when I am finished working on it for the day. I put everything away aside from the model itself. Otherwise I would be knocking stuff over, spilling paint, knocking parts onto the floor never to be seen again!

“Power”, by Dru Blair. (Airbrush)

As I recall, he used the same model as a reference. He suspended it above a sheet of glass to get the reflections correct…

Very nice job Keyda. Your skills are progressing rapidy, and it shows with each build.

Saw one parked alongside the freeway a few years ago as it was on it’s way to the Boeing Museum in Seattle. They could only travel at night. You’re right, she is a long monster.

Thanks goldhammer! I’m still learning to have more paitence, instead of just saying that’s good enough. It barely fits on that shelf, lol.

Great Job on this! I always like seeing the B-1 with all the pylons on the bottom. I really want to find one of these and make one since it will probably be easier to display than my 1:48th one haha.

Thank you! I picked this kit up on eBay a while back. It is a bit harder to get a hold of at a decent price than the 1/48. Probably due to the fact that not many have the room for the 1/48. It’s a monster! I have a 1/48 C-130 and I know the B-1 is bigger, which means I had to go with 1/72. The Herc is my favorite so it has to stay the biggest model I have.
