Monogram 1/48 F-4J Parts NEEDED!

I just received a 1/48 Monogram F-4J from Ebay TODAY and found a few parts missing;

Main landing gear struts… both missing

Pilots yoke stick missing.

Does anyone have these parts they are willing to spare?

Ummm Berny or Eddie Miller…[:-^]

Get the part numbers off of the instruction sheet, go online to Revell’s website , look up whatever kit number they have for the F-4J (I am fairly certain that kit is still in prodcution), and order the replacement parts there. They have pretty good custiomer service in my experience.

I have an old Academy F-4…E that i plan do hang from the ceiling and blacked out canopy. I’d be more than happy to send the gears and sticks. They’re a bit clunky, but if you want em, they’re yours!

This particular kit (Monogram 1/48 F-4J Mig Killer) is out of production neither Revell or Monogram have parts for it. Even their F-4E kit cockpit which this kit comes with is no longer produced. Also though Revell replaces parts for free shipping them isnt free, they charge for shipping.

I am interested but I would like to see a picture of the parts to see if I can indeed use them. I need both main landing gear struts and the pilots control (yoke) stick. I am asking for a picture because Academy and Monogram fit parts differently and I want to make sure the Academy parts will fit.

Could you give me the part nos.? I can’t say for sure I have those parts from all the Mono Phantoms I’ve chopped up, but there’s a chance. I’ll start looking now.

I need part #39 Flight Control Stick. and parts #26 and #27 Main landing gear struts. If you dont have all the parts just send me what you do have please.

My camera won’t get a good (in focus) shot. I got no problem putting them in an envelope though. I’ll never use them. The sticks are total crap(a straight piece of wire would look better).

The gear mounting pegs are round, just under 1/8" and about as long. they could easily be reshaped or you could drill in the gear bay. I do have a spare monogram A-10 stick. It looks pretty close to the stick in my Hasi F-4. I can have the stuff out to you tommorow if you want it. No problem!!!

Sorry Rand, I couldn’t find anything and the only alternative I have are the parts from a Testors F/G Wild Weasel.
