Once again, im running into things i dont like about this kit. I dont like this paintjob that they show. Anyone have any pics or tips on any different kind of paint schemes that will make this F-14 better? Thanks once again for saving me!

Try the Top Gun one that was in FSM not too long ago, greatest article I ever followed, made me think outside the Box, or OOB for you fanatics. That’s the paint scheme I ended up doing cause of the minimal decaling and it was quite fun.
I like the top gun one… what is this OOB? i keep seeing it, but what exactly is it?
OOB= Out of the Box. no frills ,no aftermarket…

The F-14D had all kinds of paint schemes it really depended on the squadron the plane was assigned to. Paint schemes ranged from Gull Gray to Ghost Gray. The most widely used scheme for the “D” Cat was the Ghost Gray TPS or Tactical Paint Scheme. Link below should help with selecting a paint scheme you like.
