see im good for some things. found it for ya didnt i?
yes it is super expensive, i highly doubt it will be sold, and if it is, the buyer is pretty foolish, or extremely rich because of not buying many kits
This must be for a collector of kits not a builder.
Who would pay that much, (loooks like no one) for a Monovelle kit that is being re-released in a few months??
That much for a box. . .
“Ultra rare?” I’ve seen that kit frequently around here, for about 6,000 yen ($54 USD).
In fact, I think I’m gonna go pick up a few this weekend and put 'em on e-Bay, too!
I could use the extra cash…
Hehehe, good idea Brian[^]. Anyone who buys that kit at 150+ dollars only has himself to blame. What’s the current price of a Monogram B-24 and a set of decals again?[:o)]
Lets see? has been opened, no bags, looks to me that the kit is now tainted and is worth about $15.00. Thats about what I paid for it in 1986. It was a good kit.
Some of these “collector” folks on ebay just amuse me, espcially when I see they get their reserved price.
Not a “reissue” per se; Hasegawa distributed Monogram products here in Japan. That kit was for the Japanese market.
I guess that’s why the seller is calling it “rare.”
I’m just glad this fellow doesn’t operate any hobby shops close by, else his days would be filled with a lot of dusting, window cleaning, and solitaire!!
