Sorry I just got the PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED page, what is it?

The period gets stuck in on the url at the end, remove it and you can see the page just fine.

It’s this:

1/72 LCM(3) Landing Craft w/29th Infantry Division

Modellers can now easily build a diorama of their own Omaha Beach combat scene with this stunningly detailed landing craft. This kit is true to 1/72 scale.

Special Features:

  • Brand new-tooled landing craft
  • Photo-etched parts for the MG gun shield and floor
  • 12 fully posed and animated true 1/72 scale 29th Infantry Division figures
  • Obstacles (Hedgehogs) included
  • Cartograf decals for various landing craft markings

Mommy!!!

Skip dessert I want a double scoop of landing craft.

Thanks for the heads up.

Cheers;

Gregory

I’ll be a buyer!

I’d still prefer the 1/35 though [:)]

[:D] the new kit from Trupeter is cool, have you seen it?

Thanks wbill76.

where is the 1/35 one though?

Dragon your letting us down…

No just kidding it looks like a good kit.

Trumpeter has a 1/35, not sure if Dragon is going to release a 1/35 as well or not. What’s really missing is Tamiya…I can’t remember the last time someone announced they were releasing a new kit compared to Trump and Dragon…

Yea the 1/35th would be cool but just in case you dont have the room.

ddayomaha -
it is here, kind of.
the thread for this said it was a rebox of the Trumpeter.
i think.

Hi Guys,

I am currently preparing a direct comparison review of the Trumpeter and Italeri 1/35 LCM3 kits and one thing I can say is they are very different; any rumour of reboxings is way off.
There is substantial dimensional differences as well as many smaller detail differences between the two, much more than you think being kits of the same boat.

And to add to the LCM3 mix, Trumpeter will also release a 1/144 kit of the LCM 3.

Cheers
Terry A.

Interesting indeed! I’ll go for one in 1/35th thank you!

Terry,
thanks for the update!
that makes sense to me, as the review of the Italeri kit made no mention of it
being the Trupeter kit.

looking forward to your comparison.

I haven’t seen the Italeri offering, but just yesterday I looked in the Trumpeter box at my LHS. Quality of moulding looks very nice, and it should build into a nice kit. It’s cool that Dragon are releasing a 1/72 offering for all those braille-scale folks.
