Modified Sherman GB Update!!!

I was thinking it’s about time to update the Modified Sherman G.B. I am working steady on my Sherm, but the tracks are all that’s left and a rea pain in the butt!!! There are no guide pegs for the return rollers above the bogies, so they had to be measured before instalation. Guess what? Their about 4mm off!! The track peices are hard to connect without cutting short one link. (noone will ever know) All in all though, the tank looks amazing!! I’ll leave it to the end to post more pics though, because I’ve added so many new, gorgeous things to it!!

So with that said, how are the rest of you doing?

Tankergeoff?? Stug61??[:)]

Anyone else building something similar??

here you go… couldn’t find the thread so i posted a new thread of my build. M4 early sherman with cullin I-beam cutters

Great job!! That’s just the inspiration I need! Now I just need to get mine done!!

By the way, what did you use for ropes??

Hey stuka, good to see this !! I had been checking the other thread in the group build section and never saw any activity. I posted some picts there of my Firefly. Can’t remember if I posted them here or not so here they are.I’m still in the process of adding sone stowage. I got side tracked by some thing else.

stukabomb, ship rigging from my LHS… i’ll get the exact name later when i’m back at the bench. glad you like it.

STUG… nice job on that firefly. really well done

Hey guys those are a couple of awesome Shermies. Andy, that Firefly is the bomb!

Steve

Thanks guys, even though there were a couple issues with this kit(Turrent needs filling, hull fit) I really like the kit. I’ m seriously thinking of doing a couple more for a dio along a hedgerow.I’ll have to dig up the ref photo. I’m still having problems deciding on which stowage to put on. Not alot but it needs something.

hats off to both of you!! The tanks look great!! I just finished the track on one side of the tank. Now all I have to do is add the other side, a little rust, wear, dust and I’m done!![8D]

Yes both Shermans are very nice. Nice work.
