Fellow Shipheads,
After giving it much thought, I’ve decided to leave the staff of Modelwarships.com. I simply don’t have the time anymore to commit to the day to day operations of the site.
Course, this doesn’t mean that I’m not going to answer camo questions, or anything like that…it just means that I’ll no longer be involved with the development of what’s still the finest ship modeling site on the web.
This also means that I’ll have more time to build, and more importantly, more time for the family.
Best Regards,
Jeff Herne
Jeff:
I’m glad you made the decision that is right for you, and I look forward to crossing paths occasionally in the future, here, there, who knows where eh?
Regards,
Bruce
Sorry to hear that Jeff, I’m sure you made the right decision for yourself. And I’m sure you will be leaving the site in equally great hands.
Best regards with you decision, I’m also glad to see that you have made the decision that will allow you to enjoy this hobby more and still give us your valuable support.
Scott
Jeff, I’m sorry to hear that. Your expertise has been invaluable to many of us, especially me.
Well thanks guys…
But I’m still here…as much as I’m going to miss the site, I’m relieved that I can actually relax when I get home from work, not have to worry about 3 hours of updating before bedtime…

You will be sorely missed, Jeff. There aren’t many sites I check daily, but Modelwarships. com is always one of them. Although I seldom post there (strictly for lack of time reasons, as you now can relate to!) I enjoy the site immensely. It won’t be the same without you.
I hope you will return for occasional editions of “From the other end of the workbench.”
I especially enjoy your “twisted ramblings” - many times they echo my own.
With that said, I understand your reasons for leaving, and wish you and your family all the best. Now go build a model (an airplane if you’re burnt out)!
Paul
