Hi-
I work for an advertising agency in Minneapolis, MN and we are currently searching for pre-built plastic models of a mustang airplane and an older model mustang car for an upcoming photo shoot we are producing for Testors. Can anyone here help us by either letting us know if you have a model you are willing to let us barrow, rent, purchase, etc. or know of other sources that might have them? We would need them by early next week. Please let me know as soon as possible by either responding to this post or calling me directly at 612-399-0645. thanks!

Here is one I built in college…in 1965. Picture taken today. I suppose you’d rather I dusted it…

[:-^]Very nice job on the prop, John!
Camo scheme is…startling!
Guess it was painted with the canopy open. On the prototype, of course. Isn’t that Tom McGuires airplane, the “Jersey Cow”?
What is really amazing is that the model exists in such pristine condition after all these years. I was 18 when I built it and FS number model paints were what, 20 years in the future? References? As I recall, we didn’t need no stinking references to build models then. Paint not the right, er, shade? Odd camo on the canopy sill? Who wants to know[:-,]
Colors were a trouble spot for me, because I’m red-green colorblind. Mixing paints is not for me. Things would get rapidly worse if I tried that. The new paints are really great for guys like me. But whats to complain, it is light where it should be and dark in other places, and in those days everyone was arguing whether the Mustangs in those markings were blue or OD anyway.
