I love building conventional dioramas but one thing always bugged me, that model will be stuck in that one scene for the rest of it’s life. Plus, I just don’t have room for any more dioramas in my display case.
Solution: Photoshop Dioramas.
I’ve build some scratch/kitbash sci fi walkers, so I photographed them and found a background from google images and combined them to make a diorama of sorts. the best part is I can drop the model into several backgrounds instead of just one scene.
I’ll admit, you have to be as good at Photoshop as you do at modeling to make this work. The first photo is the end product after finding some images of fire and a missile being launched.
