Model Master Paint Range

Hi folks,

Im currently doing up the DML M1A2 SEP kit and was hoping to get my dirty hands on the Model Master range, in particular the Light Sand colour. Do any of you know of a site that sells this paint range and ships internationally? I reside in New Zealand and they dont sell that range here unfortunately.

Any help would be appreciated.

Im doing that same kit as we speak.Im afraid i cant help you with your question but if you want to use Tamiya’s colors,try 40%Desert yellow,30%Buff and 30%white.

Can’t help with the MM either, but if you can get hold of Gunze acrylics, H313 Yellow (FS33531) is a good “out of the bottle” match.

I work at a hobby shop, and if you’d like I can get you either spray or bottles and ship them from myself, not the hobby shop. (if you’d like to pay more, you can call us 1-800-723-5937 mon-sat 10-6 Mountain time) I work Saturdays.

There are numerous online shops that sell them, but shipping to NZ is another matter. Paints, even acrylics, are often strictly regulated for import and the package (which would be expensive to ship, or rather fly) would very likely be refused by Customs if it announced it’s contents.

Best would be to see what alternatives are available locally.

hmm, I think I can just go with writing “modelling supplies” on the customs sheet. Not like I’d be sending Detcord.

Thanks very much for the responses guys and the offer to ship it over too. I managed to find it on the Great Models Webstore online site and order about 8 bottles, which should last me awhile.
