Is it peeling on its own or if you rub it? I know this is a different primer but i had a vallejo primer thst look fantastic but if i tried sanding it, it just peeled. Found out it was some type of utathane based stuff.
As you have found, the Vallejo urethane primers don’t like being sanded. All you can do is sand, fix, then repaint.
They are brilliant for pre-coating, & they also come in a range of useful armour colours.
It’s no help to you right now, but I tend to use rattle-can acrylic primer or primer-fillers, on stuff that’s been problematic, then in the primer closest to my intended finish colour.
i use halfords plastic primer now mostly or tamiya grey, or maybe alclad or mr surfacer (brilliant) or maybe… well u get the picture, no frikkinn vallejo though!
The other suggestion I would make is giving it 48 hours, which is what I do, and I find it won’t rub off clean plastic. As mentioned, it does not like sanding at all, and is tough to feather sanded areas. I’ve only used the grey color, though I’m told the white is problematic and should be avoided.
