Have you made arangements for the care of your models after you are gone. I have, with my son who will try to find a proper home for them. If he dosen’t I will come back and haunt his ass. Or at the very least fix it so he can’t find his socks.
My wife has already said that there will be a mediocre demand for them on Evilbay, all except the one or two she will keep, just for sentimental value. You know, the ones that kept me away from the family for months at a time.

you mean we can’t take them with us? The chinese emperor took his toy soldiers didn’t he?
my wife will donate my built birds to the local AFB’s or NAS’s museum so everyone will enjoy them as much as I do, you may consider this option and the unbuilt kits to a local Rec center for the kids to get into the hobby (yes I’ll get the next generation infected with our ailmented minds thinking and make then jones for more)[}:)]
Cuda, imagine an accurate 1:48 scale kit in the hands of a 10 year old. Uhhhhhhhh I shudder at the thought! I can’t follow the directions half the time.
but if could remember that’s how we all started, and with a little experience then we got better, but most of my kits that I’m building are the better ones up front like the Hasegawa’s, Tamiya’s, Dragon’s get the picture, the ole Monograms P-40’s, P-51’s etc… those Oldy’s but Goody’s are the last ones I’ll be building cause they need alot of TLC, & time to look fantastic, but the others are great from the box (well maybe with a little help too) and they are the same one I built when I got started
“fix it so he can’t find his socks.”
Double trouble for him. Haven’t you ever heard of the theory that socks are the larval form of coathangers? This explains why the former always seem to be disappearing and the latter keep showing up out of nowhere.[:D]
My son’s only 5 and I have no idea what my wife would do with the kits. I guess I subconsciously considered my unfinished kits to be directly connected to my longevity. “As long as I have some left to do, I ain’t goin’ nowhere!”
Guess I might want to make arrangements, just in case I’m attacked by a swarm of crazed squirrels or something next week.[:D]
( Sorry if the levity may seem out of place or offend anyone. My family has always had a rather unusual attitude about death, using wakes to celebrate the life of the deceased rather than the more stereotypical mutual mourning, etc. )
I couldn’t even find my way back to “normal” with the Hubble!
hey Kugai;
you wouldn’t happen to have any Irish in your blood would you?, cause most Irish wakes I’ve been to is that they really through some serious knee slapper drunk fests that will out do any Wedding reseption ever, but for the Kits built they most definatly are going to a museum with only the museums staff touching them, but unbuilt kits go to the kids, and who cares I’m not here anymore I got a whole hobby store to build where I’m going

Actrully I’m sure that hell is full of Christmas tree lights and it will be my job to untangle them.
Wait a minute - if I can’t take 'em with me, then I’m not going!!
Some of you guys should seriously consider auctioning them on ebay… I’d be definitely interested!
