Mobelwagen Camouflage

Looking for opinions on my camouflage, not not the best at doing camouflage. I think that i’m terrible at it. White, white wash background with Dark Yellow. That was hand painted, i still have the tracks to paint, the main gun, traction wheels, ammo, tools.

It is a little sloppy, but since winter camouflage was usually field applied, it looks good! For “normal” camo, airbrushes are really helpful - although admittedly, I usually hand paint too, due to not being very good with airbrushes.

Thank you, i’m not very good with a airbrush

It looks like you applied the dark yellow over the white. For a more realistic winter camo white wash look, the reverse would look better. First apply the base color, dark yellow in this case, and then apply the white wash in as rough a manner and you desire. It goes against the general rule of working from lighter to darker colors when painting, but it gives a more lifelike in scale appearance.

I used that approach on this T-34 that I rebuilt several years ago.
