Can these be applied by brush? I know it says for airbrush only, or does that just mean the best results will be achieved with an AB.
Casey,
I’ve used MM metalizers for years - with excellent results. And I’ve definately achieved the best results using an airbrush.
I’ve used a hand brush many times, but only on smaller items - it really doesn’t hand brush all that well because it’s so thin and it dries so quickly.
The stuff can be quite delicate and most of the colors don’t really stand up to handling all that well - they’re ok once you use the Metalizer sealer, but that tends to dull off the paint a little, especially the buffing Metalizers.
thanks Leemitcheltree, maybe I will pick up a bottle just to see if I like the results.
Lee is correct. Hand brushing can be accomplished successfully, but only on small items. After buffing with a small q-tip, it looks great. Large surface areas are for airbrush only.

cool, i was thinking of trying to put some heat stains on an exhaust, so I think handbrushing the metalizers will work in my situation.
