Hi all
Before I start willy-nilly slapping this paint all over every exhaust I can find, I thought it best to ask. What is the most appropriate way to use this paint? Is it something which should be dry-brushed perhaps? All answers welcome.

It’s a perfect color for today’s jets, just spray it on, and drybrush some areas around the end and other areas with enamel silver. If you want to (not necessary) prime with gloss black, then spray.
And, oh, don’t mask over it.

I’ve found out the best place for that MM color is on Exhaust Pipes for WWII planes and older (recip engines), ignition wire harness covers (the spark plug wires are in this conduit and not exposed to the elements) most people paint them another color but from working on radial and “V” Liquid cooled engines of the WWII era the harness covers are close to this color, as with the turbosuperchargers on the P-38’s and the B-17’s, B-24’s, & B-29’s, as with Korean War era exhaust pipes on the planes of that time frame but only in the pipes themselves, the exterior of the pipes where a different shade of metal, and if your building Airliners the tail cones of the fan engines, but this color will not look good is on the Augmentor (afterburner) sections on fighters from late 1950’s to today they are more of a burnt metal or Titanium color and more or less polished or have a glossy sheen to them
