They are apparently moving, so most of their catalog is out of stock. Bloody hell.
Anybody know of another website where I can order the T-90S conversion from Terre Models? Please, I need this info desperately.
I fail to see the need to cuss out one of the better online suppliers because:
a) They don’t have the ONE item YOU want
b) They’re moving to better facilities and have reduced their stock as much as possible to reduce costs
c) They’ve had about 3/4 of their stock on sale at extremely great prices for about a month (I’ve bought over $200 in the past 20 days)
In my opinion, you’re outburst shows bad form…
I don’t want to overreact to the postings here, but it is a good store and I do want to defend them. once they complete their move I’m sure they will be fully stocked again. in the meantime, look at what inventory they have left, I’m sure you’ll find some great bargains. hopefully they move to a better location (and closer to me!!!).
I’ve spent around $300-400 in the past month or two from them.
I’m sorry that I don’t know where you can find your conversion kit, but I’m sure someone here will know of a source.
I think he’s just venting. I’ve also taken advantage of their move. I got several kits that I would not have bought had they not been on sale. Plus their shipping and customer service is #1. But I don’t take his comment as a slam on the store, just a modeler’s frustration. I had alot of that before i got online.
Perhaps the post title could have been done with fewer $%#@ type characters, but I think otherwise Tankmaster’s post is simply an understandable expression of frustration. I understand his frustration well. I while ago I bought Tamiya’s M-3 Grant with the idea that I could order an Armored Brigade Models Grant turret, having seen it advertised on Mission Models website. I certainly felt Tankmaster’s frustration when the voice on the other end of the phone told me that ABM is long out of business and that Mission Models no longer has the items advertised.
